Ten years ago, I started Quire because I believed there was a more efficient way to write technical reports. Today, I’m proud to say we’ve reached our goal of changing the working lives of thousands of technical report writers. 

And we couldn’t have done it without our hard-working clients! On behalf of the Quire team, I’d like to thank each and every client, as well as our integrated data partners. 

We’ve gone from a relatively simple set of tools for assembling reports and appendices to the most innovative platform for every part of the technical report writing workflow. With thousands of users and hundreds of thousands of reports built on the Quire platform, we’ve become an integral part of our clients’ workdays.

And this year, we’re excited to bring you even more as we continue to innovate and provide insights, data, and benchmarking you won’t find anywhere else.

How Quire changed the game for technical report writers

When we started out 10 years ago, Quire 1.0 didn’t even include a text editor. It was a simple file management system that allowed you to upload and stitch together documents and images and organize appendices. 

We’ve come a long way.

In the first few years of Quire, we asked clients what features they wanted to see to optimize their processes and improve profitability. We’re so grateful for their input in our development. Now, after Quire users have created thousands of templates and built hundreds of thousands of reports, that role has shifted.
