“Things I wish I had seen while at the ASTM conference“
As part of Quire’s continuing education and participation in developing industry standards, Loraine DeBelser, AIA, Technical Director of Quire, attended the ASTM E-50 meetings in New Orleans.
Loraine participated in these meetings: E1527 Phase I ESA, E1528 Transaction Screen, E2018-17 Property Condition Assessments, E3026 Readily Observable Moisture and the E50 Workgroup on Accessibility Assessment.
Every committee is at a different stage of managing their standard, from considering new items to be included in the standard, minor grammatical edits, and major re-certification. The Accessibility work group is tasked with developing a framework to present a standard for certification.
